 Students from CSMedes Dohuk, Kurdistan, Northern Iraq Click on Photo to Watch the VLOG Dan & Julie are preparing to move to Kurdistan N.Iraq to teach school at the Classical School of the Medes in Dohuk. Dan will be teaching music and guitar to students intro- ducing Music to the classical approach to education. They plan to leave in August for one to three years. This is a big change, but one about which they are excited. Alaska 2011  A great trip to Alaska - Ft Wainwright and Eielson AFB in Fairbanks then to the Western Bush along the Yukon and Kuskokwim Rivers to Villages and Schools. - Dan & Julie Head to Europe for 2 Months  Dan and Julie are heading out for Dan's 20th Military Tour in Europe on August 30th. They will be gone for eight weeks with a full schedule of events and then returning to do some more concerts in the States in November. - The ten-month break from the road has been very good, but they are ready to get out and get into the ministry opportunities. - PILGRIM ROAD MINISTRIES is now incorporated in the state of Tennessee and will soon have official non-profit status separate from a larger umbrella. This is very exciting. - Keep in touch with PRM as things develop in the schedule for 2011. There are some great plans brewing for the entire mission of Dan and Julie! Dan & Julie's Wedding  Click to View VLOG Dan and Julie were married February 6th. They are living in Franklin, TN and on a partial break until the autumn of 2010. They plan to do a Dan's 20th Europe Tour to U.S. Military Bases. It is quite an exciting time in their lives which God is blessing. TOURING IN 2010  Plans are being made for touring this year - but first and foremost - there is a Wedding in the works. February 6, 2010 - Julie and I will be married. Nevertheless, touring will begin twice every month here in the United States to both military and non-military locations. Dan Is Home & Moving __  Dan is back in Tennessee and planning and preparing for the wedding February 6th, 2010. It is an exciting time as he and Julie prepare for their nuptials and begin this life together under God's authority. Dan & Julie are Engaged  Dan and Julie Smith were engaged September 8th in Cinque Terra Italy. The wedding is scheduled for February 6th, 2010 in Franklin, TN. Dan will be taking a 6 month Sabbatical after the wedding. Military Tour - Fall 2009 Summer is now coming to a close and the opening of a new Fall Tour begins in EUROPE. Dan will be performing at military bases again in Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. This is Dan's 18th Military Tour in Europe since the Fall of 2001. The Upcoming Tour Dan will begin his spring tour in January heading back to Alaska to the Bush and military venues then to Europe on two different tours as well as some State-side dates. ALASKAN BUSH TOURDan is heading back to the Alaskan Bush in just a few weeks to minister in the villages off the road system along the Kuskakwim river. The partnership with SEND International worked out this year to be able to return for the fourth Bush Tour. They are always in January/February which is the coldest, yet perhaps most adventurous time to do a tour like this. Be praying that the Lord will use this time! Sign up for the UPDATE LIST HERE! EUROPE TOUR #15 Dan is back from Europe and still completing his Fall Tour '08. His tour too him To Ramstein, Germany; Kondersteg Switzerland; Stuttgart, Germany; and Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. Dan lost His voice for the last weekend of concerts but has regained his voice. He also returned to the Chaplain's School in Ft Jackson, South Carolina two days after returning from Europe and also took part in a Chaplain and Families' retreat in Balcone Springs, Texas.
