Welcome to Dan Meyers Web Site

Summer in Franklin, TN - June-August 2013

This summer I am here in Franklin, TN working for Cornerstone Presbyterian Church (my home church) as an intern working on discovering ministry opportunities and outreach in the local city.  I will be doing Home Fellowship Group (HFG) house concerts and presenting these potential ministries and helping to bridge other ministries within the church together.  Please pray that the Lord will open wide our hearts and move within us for His glory.

I will be continuing with leading the Truth Project for the High School group and discipling students in the Word.

Ft Sill, Oklahoma - May 1-5, 2013

I just returned home from a week of ministry at Ft Sill in Oklahoma.  It was a first-time visit to the post, and I believe that it was successful.  I worked with Chaplain Jerrod Glenn who I had first met and worked with in Kaiserslautern, Germany.  We did prayer breakfasts, worked with the WTU (Warrior Transition Unit), the hospital staff, youth, PWOC (Protestant Women of the Chapel), basic trainees chapel, AIT (Advanced Infantry Training) Bible study and more.  It was definitely a great encouragement.

What the Future Holds for Dan

Life takes its dips and turns, and coming back from Iraq was no call for anything different.  Things are going well - but I am simply striving to continue the path of music and learning greater obedience to the Lord as I serve.  I just came back from Kansas and Pennsylvania working with the Military at Ft Leavenworth and leading worship at an ROTC Conference at White Sulphur Springs with General Van Antwerp.

Ft Leavenworth, Kansas - February 12-19, 2013

Dan will be playing on Ft Leavenworth base throughout the entire week!  Come and join him for the concert ministry!

Check out the TOUR page for concerts and dates!

Recent VIN Video in Kurdistan (Region to the north of Iraq)

As the second semester of last year's school year adventure in Kurdistan began, Dan met a fellow teacher whose brother owned a studio.  Mohamed was a very talented man who thought outside of the box regarding Kurdish music.  Dan got acquainted with him and wrote and recorded the final lines of the song which was recorded by a couple of Kurdistan's finest artists, Karwan Kamil & Chopy Fetah.  Check it out in the right column.
